Smashing eggs on our heads, gaga ball, corn hole, worship…these are just a few of the activities that took place in Tribe this past Wednesday.  Even more importantly, were able to celebrate our 8th graders reaching a milestone.  They have graduated from Tribe and are moving into High School and Magis.  The coolest part of the night wasn’t the cake, pizza, gaga ball, or even smashing raw eggs on people.  No, it was hearing how the 8th graders have grown since being in Tribe.

I heard how important leaders have been in our students lives.  They listen, talk with and truly care about our students.  Some students were almost brought to tears thinking about what an impact their leader made in their life.  The students expressed how not only are they reading their bibles more, but they are more engaged in worship, and the teachings.  One of the biggest impacts our students spoke of was the friendships they have made in Tribe.  Our students are building lasting friendships and inviting others to come and join as well.

Thank you Lord that we have the privilege to partner with these students through these middle schoo years and see how you are changing their lives.
