The snow is gone, or so we hope.

Over the winter, the plow team took care of over 700 parking lot spaces over the winter months. A huge thank you to the Plow Team!

The sun is now shining, the birds are singing, spring is the air. Summer is just around the corner and we have so many things to be thankful for …and so many things to get done.

We are thankful for the 165 acres that God has blessed us with here at Ridge Point. We are thankful for our beautiful trails that families, community groups and schools can enjoy. We are thankful for the 7 new volunteers that God has blessed us with for our summer grounds team.

Our team is responsible for taking care of this wonderful property that God has blessed us to use.  Our property is the first thing people see when they approach Ridge Point or drive by on 104th Avenue.  The condition of the property helps to determine their first impression of our church and gives them a glimpse into how we steward the resources God has entrusted to us.

There are several things our grounds team takes care of:

  • Mowing
  • Trimming
  • Edging
  • Weeding
  • Brush hogging
  • Maintenance of signs
  • Equipment maintenance

We will be having a ground team meeting on Wednesday, April 12 at 6:30pm in the Pole Barn (lower level drive 3). If this is an area that you’d be interested in serving, you are more than welcome to come to the meeting. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact Tammy Tamminga.
