We have some special people who are partnering with our Community Life Department!

Jerry and Cynthia Rawlings are in the United States to pursue seminary in Grand Rapids. While they’re here, they’re giving time and energy to help develop leaders at Ridge Point, bringing in their church experience and a multi-cultural perspective.

Their previous ministry experience, spanning six years, includes residency and pastoral work at Mavuno Church in Nairobi, Kenya and planting a Mavuno church in Kigali, Rwanda. The Rawlings have pastoral hearts and a strong desire to invest in our faith community while they pursue their education. Help us welcome Jerry, Cynthia and their daughter Imani:

We are excited to be part of Ridge Point Community Church this season. We had the privilege of meeting several staff and leaders from Ridge Point during our time in Rwanda. Their passion for following Jesus and fearlessly making him known is truly contagious, as we have seen in the lives of those we have met since we arrived. At Ridge Point we will specifically work with Life Groups and Rooted Groups. We look forward to meeting and getting to know you whether it’s over coffee, lunch, dinner, in the hallways or at Meijer!
– Jerry, Cynthia and Imani Rawlings

This weekend, I hope that you will introduce yourself to Jerry and his family.  They will be available before and after services in the Commons (lower level) or drop them an email to welcome them to the Ridge Point family.
