Exodus 20:16 CULTIVATE GROUND BREAKING POSTPONED! In conversation with Manlius township, it has been discovered that while our site plan has been approved, there is additional landscaping that needs township approval. In light of this, we have decided to postpone our groundbreaking celebration. Although this approval is more of a formality, out of respect for our neighbors and community, we would like to wait until we have this final stamp of approval. This township meeting will be held this Monday, July 27, and after that meeting we hope to set a new date. We are looking forward to this facility and what it will do for the community, and we want to honor God, our community and neighbors as we build. The Ridge Kids lesson is on honesty and speaking the truth. We encourage kids to fill out the activity sheet and bring it to the Ridge Kids table for a sweet treat. Ridge Kids is meeting in person in the OUTDOOR classroom on Sundays for all of August. STRONGER TOGETHER Families and friends of incarcerated individuals are able to meet with others who have walked the same overwhelming journey of a loved one behind bars. Shame. Anger. Guilt. The reality of the loss of an income or parenting partner is devastating. Through Stronger Together, families and friends can ask questions and navigate feelings with people who will pray and listen while sharing strength and hope. This year we will be collecting backpacks for all ages of students. Our goal is to fill 200 backpacks by August 9, 2020 – Two ways to do this: Purchase a backpack & fill it with supplies.
