Revolution | The Spirit Gives Us Courage

In this third message we will consider the work of the Holy Spirit through the lens of Stephen’s life and death. Stephen is selected as a deacon of the early church and is arrested for preaching about Jesus. In His trial – he stands as a bold witness for Jesus and courageously shares the gospel. He is martyred – but before he dies he shows us a rare (in fact the only one) glimpse of Jesus. As Stephen stands for the name and cause of Jesus – Jesus stands for Stephen. His story reminds us that the Holy Spirit gives us a courage to live like Jesus and do what He does.
